Cutting through the noise: how to communicate and market your game

A Game Access '25 panel on how to actually get a game seen — from community and press to events and awards — with no fluff and no recording.

Game Access in Brno is quietly one of my favourite gaming events in all of Europe — it's the kind of conference where honest conversations still happen in the hallway and nobody is trying to sell you anything on the way out.

Making a great game is only half the battle; getting it seen is the rest. In this practical, no-fluff panel, professionals from across the industry shared their insight on how to effectively market and communicate a game in a crowded landscape — from managing your community and pitching to press, to showcasing at events and navigating award circuits. Real-world advice on what works, what doesn't, and how to make your game stand out.

On stage with me: Hans Haave (Lead Publishing Producer, Oro Interactive), Valentina Birke (Director Indie Arena Booth, Super Crowd Entertainment), and Alessandro Fileni (International Communications Manager, Electronic Arts).

No public recording of this session exists. The speaker page linked below has the abstract and the roster.
