Carolin Wendt

About

Hi, I'm Carolin.

I've spent my whole life in and around game communities, and got lucky enough to turn it into a career after a couple of years of working in the industry. I learned the craft hands-on, and eventually got asked enough of the same questions that I sat down and wrote a book about it.

These days, I head content creator strategy at CD PROJEKT RED, where I get to translate the human work of community into programs, partnerships, and playbooks. On the side, I sit on industry juries, consult occasionally, and try to keep making things — including writing for pleasure and taking pictures.

My throughline is simple: games are made by people for people, and people deserve to be treated well and with respect.
